PHOTOS: Yakushima, and new photo system

To save myself a bit of time and streamline my photo albums, I'm changing the way I upload photos to this blog. I won't be posting photos directly in the blog anymore, but pasting a link to the Picasa web album containing the photos. Any photo post will have "PHOTOS" in the subject, as well as a photo tag. Captions are under each individual photo in the album!

It takes photos super fast! I could photograph LIGHTNING. And it takes fantastic low-light shots. I must, must learn more!

i suck, i know

this is a pretty standard bento. i've been trying to make them more these days. this is also the first image i've uploaded from my new-ish pentax k-x DSLR, which i love to pieces. however, i've been taking photos on the highest setting... so i had to resize this image from a whopping 4.7mb. needless to say, updates are going to be slowwww until i resize a whole lot of images. i wish i could show them to you in their full glory, but you'll just have to catch me for a slideshow sometime while i'm home in december :P
