Valentine's wishes

Valentine's Day is a BIG FREAKING DEAL here in Japan. Girls give chocolate to the boys they like, but they don't get chocolate in return until White Day (March 14), which is a somewhat stupid holiday made up by Asia. Basically, pink and red hearts and make-it-yourself chocolate kits have been EVERYWHERE since the New Year began. In IMS (the 15 story vertical mall of coolness), they have a special station where everyone and anyone can write a wish for Valentine's Day, just like at any shrine or temple. Some of them are ridiculous, some sweet, and some hilarious. I have translated a few here."World Peace"

"I hope the five members of Arashi stay healthy this year." Arashi is by far the most popular boy band in Japan. They have like 3-4 late night TV shows and are quite entertaining.

"(Arashi) Aiba-kun, good luck." This one is funny because Aiba is by far the dumbest of the lot. Dumb, but hilarious and cute.
"I love Mama. I love Papa. I love Arashi. I love my friends. By R." Looks like she has her priorities straight.
"When I turn 20, I pray that I will meet Nishikido Ryo. Erina." Member of another boy band.
"To Sakai-san: IT'S OK!! Follow your own path!"
